SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA HAS CONTRIBUTED TO INTERNATIONAL COMPARATIVE GUIDE REGARDING ARBITRATION

In November 2021, research, ranking and publishing firm THE LEGAL 500 has published comparative guide titled: International Arbitration.

Comparative guide relates to legal and practical aspects of arbitration proceedings in jurisdictions of various states. Forty law firms from forty different states have contributed to comparative guide. All continents (except Antarctica) are represented in the guide. SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA law firm has contributed on behalf of the Slovak republic.

The aim of the guide is to compare mutual similarities and differences between legal rules, case law and legal doctrine related to arbitration proceedings in particular states from different legal cultures.

The comparative guide provides answers to 61 questions related particularly to arbitrability, arbitration agreements, governing law, arbitrators and arbitration tribunals including their duties and responsibility, arbitration process, costs of arbitration, arbitral awards, recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, etc.
