ÚČASŤ NA VÝROČNEJ KONFERENCII ICC - FIDIC V DUBROVNÍKU

Our colleagues from SOUKENÍK - ŠTRPKA, advocates Oľga Svitek Dlhopolčeková and Barbora Ivanová attended the annual ICC – FIDIC Conference on International Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution.

This year’s conference took place in Dubrovnik with the participation of many leading practitioners in the field of construction who focus on standardized FIDIC contract conditions and dispute resolution by means of arbitration.

During two days, the respective panels of speakers focused on the latest trends and development in the field of construction, as well as on selected issues and problems related to the application of FIDIC contract conditions, and experience with their handling.

Main discussions of the panels notably included issues related to the adjustments of the contract price and assessment of the delay causes, as well as issues related to the risks related to the termination of the construction contracts, including the COVID-19 pandemic impact and future challenges pertaining to the war in Ukraine and high inflation rates.
